Fresh Ham Steak is the perfect ingredient when you want to use your own brine recipe. Ham steak is a thick slice cut from a whole roast of ham, either bone-in or with the bone already removed. Ham steaks are a perfect solution for that ham craving when it strikes, but you don’t have enough people at the dinner table for an entire roast of ham.

Pork is a great source of such vitamins and minerals as phosphorus, selenium, and thiamine. Pork is actually richer in thiamine, a B vitamin that is necessary for a range of bodily functions, than other red meats such as beef and lamb.
